Tenison Woods College Year 11 Student Ruben Gustavsson, recently competed in the 2019 South Australian State Youth Championships, at the Adelaide Sailing Club.

Held on March 9 and 10, this competition saw elite sailors take to the water in aim of showcasing their talents throughout various races.

Ruben competed in 7 races, placing second in four of them, and successfully finishing second overall in the Laser 4.7 Class.

Apart from some local club races, ongoing training and the 'Frostbite Regatta' in the middle of June, this competition wraps up the 2018/2019 sailing season.
